Jahvid Best: Fastest Player in College Football?

Quite possibly. At least according to the CBS Sports. They've listed Jahvid "the Jet" as one of the 10 fastest players in all of College Football.

"Jahvid Best, RB, Cal, sophomore: Used sparingly as a freshman, Best once ran a 10.31 100 in high school. Missed the track season (and spring practice) recovering from a hip injury."

Eh. No one who's ever heard of Best is surprised, so I suppose this is hardly newsworthy.

The other players listed are:

  • Noel Devine, RB, West Virginia, Sophomore
  • Jacoby Ford, WR, Clemson, Junior
  • Michael Ray Garvin, DB, Florida State, Senior
  • Percy Harvin, WR, Florida, Junior
  • Trindon Holliday, RB/WR/KR, LSU, Junior
  • Jeremy Maclin, WR/KR, Missouri, Sophomore
  • Taylor Mays, S, USC, Junior
  • Joe McKnight, RB, USC, Sophomore
  • C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson, Junior
(The suit makes him go faster)
