The new AP and USA Today Polls are out and Cal has moved up a few spots to rank just out of the Top 25 at 28th and 27th respectively. Cal received 91 votes in the AP Top 25 behind Clemson and East Carolina. In the USA Today Poll, only UCLA, coming off a stunning upset over Tennessee, stands in the way of Cal cracking the Top 25.
It’s worth remembering though, that the only ranking that matters is the one at the end of the season. Still, it’s still good to see Cal get some positive momentum in the polls after what was viewed as a solid win over the weekend.
