Tedford's had an active day with the media today. He had an interview with Yahoo! Sports as well as ESPN.
You can listen to Jeff Tedford's interview with Yahoo's Travis Rodgers here.
Tedford sounded upbeat, and you can tell having to focus only on recruiting for the last week has done him some good. He spoke a bit about bowl preparations as well as whether he had any preference on which bowl he played (of course he stated he had none).
A good chunk of the conversation was about Aaron Rodgers and his success and development in the NFL. The conversation was a bit of segway from questions on Andrew Luck, and I thought it was interesting that Tedford was asked whether he anticipated Rodgers being as successful as he had been thus far in the pros. Tedford summarized what most Cal fans are probably thinking, "It's hard to believe anyone can play at that level in the NFL."
Other topics include the Pac-12 hires of Mike Leach and Rich Rod, as well as his excitement with the facilities' impact on recruiting.
Tedford also spoke with Scott Van Pelt at ESPN who Tedford calls "Scotty."
"Scotty" is a pretty solid interviewer, and spoke with Tedford at length about the challenges of playing off campus this year, as well as the team's resiliency in showing improvement in the second half of the season, winning 3 of their last 4 and four of their last six.
And if the first interview didn't include enough, SVP included the obligatory Aaron Rodgers questions.
